This case study project comprises of the construction of a new Sixth Form Block as well as remodelling of a number of existing areas, together with associated mechanical and electrical services.

Wrapping around the corner of an existing teaching block, the new building form generates a courtyard and the opportunity to create vibrant outdoor social spaces in a previously under-used corner of the campus. The complete in-situ concrete frame, including floor and roof slabs required an exceptional level of attention to detail to meet the strict quality requirements for the fair-faced internal finish. A very close collaborative relationship was established to manage these works carefully and productively within the live school.
