Located in Essex and completed in 2021, this exceptional project involved the comprehensive renovation of a steel-framed agricultural barn that had suffered extensive fire damage in 2005. While the original steel frame was preserved, new elements were incorporated to enhance the structure's aesthetic appeal. The exterior refurbishment was completed with zinc roofing and Larch cladding to create a visually stunning design.
The renovated dwelling now boasts four generously sized bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, as well as a snug, living room, dining area, and garden room that are seamlessly connected with sliding doors. In addition, a large workshop was added to the property. Two Air Source Heat Pumps were installed to minimise the building's carbon footprint, making it an eco-friendly living space.
