Case Study project comprised of the conversion and extension of an existing timber frame barn to create an attractive Wedding Venue for a private client. The project itself incorporated extensive repairs to the existing structure and fabric of the building, along with a large rear extension to accommodate additional bathroom and kitchen facilities. The adjacent cart lodge was also converted to provide additional bedroom facilities for guests.
The project brief also included the removal and replacement of defective timber members within the existing structure frame and replacement of external cladding, complete with re-roofing and underpinning of the building foundations. Modern glazed screens were supplied and installed to existing openings, along with a bespoke feature staircase. The project also included a high specification kitchen fit out and extensive external works.
