Our most recently completed project on behalf of East Herts District Council was the refurbishment and two-storey extension of Hartham Leisure Centre. The centre now boasts a state-of-the-art gym, modern studios, soft play areas, and a vibrant café area. The new facilities cater to increased demand, providing a diverse range of cardiovascular equipment, dedicated weightlifting zones, and a variety of resistance equipment, ensuring that there is something suitable for everyone's fitness journey.

However, the upgrades did not stop there. The Hartham Leisure Centre is now also a beacon of sustainability, with energy improvements that support the centre's commitment to a greener future. The installation of solar panels on the roof, an air source heat pump, and a green 'living' wall served by rainwater from the roof are just some of the changes that have been made to provide sustainable energy. These upgrades not only benefit the environment but also lead to reduced energy costs for the centre in the long run. Hartham Leisure Centre's new facilities were completed in time for the public opening day on September 9th. The refurbishment and extension have not only enhanced the centre's aesthetic appeal and functionality but also solidified its position as a leader in sustainability and commitment to a greener future.
