We are looking for a Trainee/Improver Bricklayer to work alongside an experienced tradesperson for jobs in East Anglia & London Suburbs.
๐ฅ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐:
โข New build & refurbishment brickworks
โข Working accurately from detailed plans and specifications
โข Working closely with trained tradesperson
โข Repairing and maintaining buildings
โข Being involved in projects such as: Schools, Leisure Centres, Industrial/Commercial Buildings & occasional Residential works
๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐๐ฑ๐ฒ:
โข Reading and interpreting sketches and drawings
โข Year-round outdoor working (often on scaffolding)
โข Teamwork
โข Practical working
โข Working at Height
โข Office in Colchester, Site Locations: East Anglia - London Suburbs
โข Overtime is not guaranteed but is generally worked and paid @ time and a half per hour, enhanced rates are applicable for weekend work
โข Travel time is paid for, for any journey further than 10 kilometres from the yard in Colchester, transport will be provided to site
โข Salary Negotiated Depending on Experience
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ:
โข NVQ Level 2/3 in Bricklaying
โข Good time keeping
โข The ability to work carefully and accurately
โข A good awareness of health and safety/working at height issues (preferred but not essential)
โข Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
โข Ability to organise your time and workload
โข Ability to be thorough and pay attention to detail
โข Enhanced DBS will be carried out in house
โข Photo ID
โข Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
